Aside from Mercedez Benz, they are also offering other bridal cars such as Chrysler , Jaguar, Ford, etc. However, these cars are not included on their promo rates. We were supposed to get book them for our bridal car, but for some reasons, we had to book a different supplier. (Zandy’s Mini cooper rentals)

It really feels great if a bride to be has someone to talk to regarding her rants and wants for her upcoming wedding day. Yes, I do have lots of friends whom I tell my concerns and anxieties regarding the wedding preparations, but it still feels different if the person I talk to regarding these things is also experiencing the same situation -- and they are my fellow bride-to-be’s. For the record, I already know 20 plus beautiful ladies who are getting married next year, and luckily, I am included on the list. I told Mark that these ladies are the ladies who can fully understand me this time, so he should support me every time I get to meet with them. It is such a great feeling to share the same sentiments and experiences with them. Without these ladies, I wouldn’t realize that planning for a wedding can be stressful yet pleasurable. To think of, almost all of the suppliers we have booked for the big day were a part of their suggestions and referrals. So I couldn’t thank them enough ;)

292 more days to go and it feels as if I am having wedding jitters already. I am having sleepless nights, my heart keeps on pounding too fast every time I think about the so-called big day. This time around, there is no more time to be lax with the preparations, most especially that time is running swiftly ;)
Initially, when Mark and I started the wedding preps, I promised to myself to follow the wedding calendar time line I have created. Sadly, we weren’t able to follow the details I have marked on my calendar, and unfortunately, there are some things that we weren’t able to accomplish on time. But I can still say that we’re still on the right track. – and lucky enough to book our budget friendly suppliers.
So for all bride-to-be’s out there, who are planning for their own wedding, it is a must to have a check list. Checklist would help you not to forget even the smallest details of your wedding. To be honest, if I don’t have the detailed checklist that one of my friends from Female Network sent me, I would totally forget that we still need to buy PENS and MATCHES needed during wedding ceremony! Looking at the checklist, I am quite proud that we’re almost 70% complete with the wedding details.
So if you're a bride, and planning for a wedding, it is a MUST to have your own wedding checklist. Much better if you compare and contrast the checklists on the Internet, because some of these checklists have different details on it. Just like what I did, I printed out a couple of checklists, filed them on a *special* folder, and PROMISED myself to update it from time to time. But due to my busy schedule at work and granted that I do not have a professional wedding planner, most of these checklist are still *unused/checked*. Hehe. But despite this, I am still confident that we’re on the right track! (I hope so) To believe it or not, the checklist that I have been using most of the time is as the same size of a post it notepad. :D

If the check boxes on the detailed check list that you are using have more unchecked text boxes/check boxes or whatever you call it, start working on it. It's not a good idea to cram if you're planning for your big day - unless you have your own professional wedding planner ;)
So on our part, here's the unfinished list that Mark and I need to accomplish before 2011 ends. It’s a shame that I posted a time line before but ended up not accomplishing those tasks. :D

Just a few, but mind you, this is just a partial list. I'm not pretty sure if something might come up, since I am not that organized in terms of the things we need to accomplish. For me, a single saved message on my Inbox would suffice the things I need to double check on the checklist, but that is no way reliable. haha.
I know more canvassing and activities would happen on the next few months most especially on the first 2 months of 2012, and right now, I am hoping and praying that no major boo-boos would happen as the wedding day gets nearer.
As posted below, I am now going to share the templates that I am going to use for our wedding invitations. :D It still remains to be seen though, but as early as now, I started doing the layouts and edited the templates with our own wordings. :D
The invitation suites include the ff:
* Save the Date Card * Wedding Invitation * Wedding Party Card * Reception Card * Response Card * Program Cover * Placecards/Escort Cards * Table Card * Menu * Favor Tags * Thank You Cards
But since we already have our own designs for table numbers, we are only going to use their templates for: Wedding Invitation (the main cover); Reception Card; Response Card and the Wedding Party Card.
What I love about this design is its simplicity. It doesn’t have to have lengthy wordings that are essential for large invitations. The design is way too straight to the point, and it only contains the date, venue, wedding party participants and some instructions. :D
The colors of these templates cannot be modified, but good thing they have brown template. And to cut down printing costs, what I decided is to buy colored specialty papers (brown) and copy the sizes and styles of the textboxes on the actual template. I just did this on Microsoft word, and made sure that the textboxes I did are the same with the textbox on the actual design.

Available colors for this template are: Pink, Brown, Blue (pictures above) and Purple. I couldn’t save the brown template since the format is for Microsoft word.
Yesterday, I printed some black and white samples, and the sizes were just so right. Not too small and not too big. Based on their website, their templates are built to fit multiple cards onto a letter size page (8 1/2 × 11 inches). Once trimmed each card is a typical card size and will fit into standard sized envelopes.
I have listed the materials we’re going to purchase for these DIY invites.

Happy October! I’ve been busy with work lately, and decided not to think about the wedding preps for a few days – but since I have already pre-empted that October’s going to be a busy month for me, I can truly say that I am already back on the track! My thinking cap is already contributing more ideas and with that being said, I finally decided to give up Wink as our supplier for wedding invites, and settle for DIY invites. Yes, I know, I may not be crafty as our bride to be’s out there, but with the help of my super-friends, and MORAL support of my husband to be, I know very well that our wedding invites would look perfectly okay. =)
Invitations are very important for couples wedding since this would convey the important details about the wedding - The venue, date and time, wedding reception and some rules about the ceremony. So I suppose, the simple wordings on the invites, the better.
There are so many templates that DIY b2b’s could download over the internet, but most of the samples I’ve checked online don’t match our wedding color. Some templates can be modified but colors are unalterable. Good thing, after the hundreds of searches I made last night, Mr. Google returned me the best free template invitations so far. =) It really pays a lot to be patient in searching since I found this website on number 38 of Google’s search.
Let me share some of the useful websites that b2b’s could use too on their wedding invites.
One of my favorites is the weddingchicks - http://www.weddingchicks.com/freebies/ I was supposed to create our wedding invitations using this site, but I had a hard time figuring out where to insert the names of our principal sponsors and wedding party participants. The fields are somehow limited, and there are other texts that can’t be modified. But I still consider this site to be the most useful tool I have used most especially in creating our wedding monograms and labels.
Here are the sample wedding invitations that bride-to-be's can use for DIY's. This is actually the easiest invitation generator since all you have to do is fill out the text boxes, and voila! an instant elegant invitation would be generated, at no extra cost.
I also created a few samples from their designs but opted not to share it though. Even if I began blogging everything about the wedding preparations and the details of the wedding, I still want to conceal something about our big day. LOL.But here's the sample I used when I tried creating samples:
An added factor why I really love wedding chicks is because they offer complete free invitation sets, not just the first page of the wedding invitation. ;)

Good thing, the moderator is always up to date, so I emailed her just this morning asking if she can also make a brown and pink wedding invitation template. She then replied and said that my suggestion/ request will be on the queue and she’ll keep me posted once she’s done creating it. And oh yes, before I forget, their templates are elegant too. Evidences below :D

Another website that I found really helpful too is http://memorabletreasures.com/invitationtemplates_view.aspx however; the downside of this website is that the templates don’t have thumbnails or previews of the designs, so you really have to open the link one by one, if you want to check it all. (Yeah, just like what I did yesterday). Unless you would based the designs according to the title of the templates.Samples below.
I just love the damask on this template. Hopefully they get to create a brown and pink version for this :)
And last but not the least, is: http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com. This is actually where we are going to download the templates that we’d use for our wedding invites! They have few designs that DIY brides can choose from, and what I really loved about this website, is that they have brown templates! – Also, the design that I decided to download from their website is just what Mark and I really wanted – simple and modernized. I know this is going to be a challenge for us, most especially that both of us are really not that *crafty*. Good thing my super friends are willing to help out in printing out and choosing the materials we’re going to use for our invites. I just can no longer wait to share the finished product pictures of our wedding invitations. But to give you a hint how it would look like, please take a peek at the picture below:
